Coverwood now jointly own and operates the Hurtwood Hostel, a purpose-built hostel capable of accommodating 49 guests. Situated in the heart of The Hurtwood , the hostel is only 2 km from the farm and provides the perfect base for group gatherings or somewhere to explore the beautiful Surrey Hills.
Built-in 1935, the hostel was one of the Youth Hostels Association's first purpose-built facilities designed to enable visitors easy access to affordable accommodation in the countryside. The hostel offers beds for up to 49 guests within 14 bedrooms over ground and first floors. It has played host to thousands of visitors over the decades and has accommodated groups ranging from international sports tours and school groups to family gatherings and individuals.
Catered and self-catered options are available and in 2025 we will be introducing a mountain biking centre so you can enjoy all the trails the Surrey Hills has to offer.
